Yeehaw cowboy!
Banff Horseback Riding
Adventure Details
Our Banff horseback riding tours are designed to give you a taste of what the original settlers experienced more than 200 years ago. Choose from one to four hour horseback rides, all departing from stables in Banff.
Horseback riding for the first time? Don’t sweat it. You can gain experience in the saddle on our scenic one-hour rides along the Bow River or cross through the Spray River.
On our Banff horseback rides, you'll journey along river trails, backed by wooded hillsides and jagged mountain peaks and learn about the natural landscape from experienced western guides.
You will receive basic horseback riding instructions to get you settled into the saddle. Veteran cowboys will guide you as you go horseback riding through Banff, so you’re always in safe hands. It is the perfect way to see the Canadian Rockies.
If you're looking for a total horseback experience, try our horseback + cowboy cookout. This adventure combines a horseback (or wagon ride) with a BBQ steak dinner and all the trimmings!
