Snowmobiling is the ultimate Canadian adventure activity and the Paradise Basin experience is our most popular snowmobile adventure! Enjoy a groomed trail ride to the alpine, visit the enchanting frozen Marmot Falls, and experience the remnants of an early 1900s silver mining town located at 8000 ft. Refuel with a BBQ lunch from our local providers & hot drink and sit beside the fireplace in our cozy alpine cabin or enjoy the incredible view from the deck near the old mine shaft. After being refueled, it's time for off-trail free play in the Paradise Basin. This is the premier snowmobile tour of the west.
The Paradise Mine Tour is a popular tour option departing daily in the afternoon. It offers a little bit of everything; Breathtaking groomed scenic trails, a visit the the spectacular Marmot frozen waterfalls and opportunity to ride Paradise Bowl, are just a few of the memorable experiences you can expect on this trip up to 8000 ft! If you have never been on a snowmobile before, don’t worry! Before departing from our base area, your experienced guide will provide a full safety briefing and instruction. You will then have a chance to practice and obtain riding tips before following your guide out on to our groomed trail system. This is a scenic trip at a comfortable pace with plenty of time to enjoy the journey. It even includes a snack from our local bakery and a hot drink at our cozy alpine cabin There are many opportunities to photograph the incredible mountain scenery, while your guide shares information about the area. Transportation is not offered.

- Paradise Basin Tour Departs Panorama at 9:30am. Paradise Mine Tour departs at 1:30pm. Guests should arrive 30 minutes before tour time. Panorama is located 2 hours from Banff. Directions will be provided upon booking.
- Transport from Banff is available for Paradise Basin Tour for an additional $30 per person
- Tours include snacks & drinks in our alpine cabin at 8,000ft, guide, snowmobile, goggles, boots and helmet. Winter gloves are not supplied, please bring your own. Paradise Basin Tour also includes a delicious mountain top BBQ lunch and free time in the open powder bowl.
- Wear layered clothing - ski or snowboard apparel is ideal
- Snowmobile suit rentals are available for $20
- All participants are required to sign a Release of Liability Waiver before their tour
- Tour pricing includes minor collision insurance for up to $500 in incidental damages per snowmobile
- Guests are required to sign a Credit Card Authorization form for our collision insurance policy
- Tour Duration is 4 hours for Paradise Basin Tour and 2.5 hours for Paradise Mine Tour.
- Minimum passenger age is 5 years | Minimum driving age is 18 years - a provincial driver's license is not required
- The tour is in the same time zone as Alberta - Mountain Standard Time (MST) / Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)

| Your Arrival | Please arrive on time to avoid delaying other guests on your tour. After you check in for your tour, you will meet your professional snowmobile guide, who set you up with your helmet and boots. Most of our guests are first-timers, so you will receive a comprehensive safety briefing and instructions on how to ride your snowmobile safely. |
| Hitting The Trail | After some practice time at our base area, your guide will lead you up a groomed snowmobile trail through old-growth forest and open slopes for a spectacular view of Panorama Mountain Resort and the surrounding peaks of the lovely Toby Creek Valley. |
| Paradise | You will see the remains of an early 1900s silver mine and warm-up beside the fire in our alpine cabin. Enjoy a mountain-sized cookie and a hot drink, and then head out for some free play-time in Paradise Bowl. Your guide will introduce you to the play area and offer riding and safety tips. You will then have an opportunity to free ride and trail basin to explore on your snowmobile within the designated area under the watchful eye of your guide, who will be there to assist you if required. |
| Lunch | Enjoy a sumptuous BBQ lunch at our cozy, comfortable alpine cabin while you watch the ravens soar in the breeze. |
| Return To Base | As we descend back to the base, you will park your snowmobile beside the trail and follow your guide along a short pathway to the bottom of the frozen Marmot Falls. This is a magical sight of a 100′ frozen pillar of blue ice amidst pillows of soft powder snow on a rock cliff. |

Paradise Basin Snowmobile Tour Only* | For our Paradise Basin snowmobile tour, we offer direct, daily transportation from Banff, Alberta. Our shuttle stops at all major hotels and provides a pickup at the Banff Railway Station for a public parking option. For those staying in Lake Louise, our shuttle stops at the Castle Mountain Chalets near the Bow Valley Parkway, Hwy 1A/95 interchange.
Our daily winter shuttle service is $30 per person – minimum passenger numbers apply.
