The Dorothy Motel is Banff’s first boutique motel offering ‘accommodations made simple’. This quaint motel, peacefully located at the start of Banff Avenue, is surrounded by forests with the majestic Cascade Mountain in the background.
Bring your own bicycles, or rent some from our Banff Adventures downtown store. On-site bike storage and a fix-it station are available as well. And after a day of exploring the stunning scenery of Banff enjoy the evening relaxing in the courtyard.

The Dorothy Motel is located at 250 Marmot Crescent, a short walk from downtown Banff.
The Dorothy Motel does not have onsite dining, have the Banff Caribou Lodge is a 6 minute walk away and The Keg Steakhouse & Bar is open for breakfast and dinner. There are also plenty of restaurant options in downtown Banff.
Complimentary outdoor parking on site.
Check-in using your mobile phone or in person at the Hotel Canoe & Suites, just down the street (600 Banff Avenue). Guests have access to the outdoor hot pools at Hotel Canoe during your stay.
Dogs are welcome! Pet friendly rooms are limited though, so please let us know you are bringing your pet before your stay. $25.00 Pet fee per night.
All guests will receive a Best of Banff" Booklet, entitling you to great discounts and special offers at leading Banff area retailers, restaurants and other service providers. All guests receive complimentary access to the Town of Banff ROAM transit system.
Booking & Cancellation Policy
Full payment will be taken prior to arrival. Reservations cancelled 72 hrs prior to arrival will be subject to full penalty.
