Banff turns into beautiful winter wonderland for 5 months of the year. For the winter adventure seeker, it should be at the top of everyones bucket list! From escaping the hustle and bustle of Banff and exploring the winter hiking trails to exploring the mountain on skis or snowboard at one of the three world re-known ski hills.
Don't forget your camera! With our 5 day 'epic' itinerary, you'll want to capture as many magnificent moments as possible!
Day 1
Two national parks in one day! In the morning, join our guides and visit Banff National Park's mesmerising ice falls at Johnston Canyon. Tread the boardwalk as you make your way into the canyon and watch the ice climbers ascend the towering falls.
In the afternoon, venture to Kootney National Park for a snowshoe adventures along the Paint Pots trail. If you've never tried snowshoeing before, this is the perfect introduction to the popular canadian pastime!

Day 2
Banff is home to three ski hills - Mt Norquay Ski Resort, Banff Sunshine Village and Lake Lousie Ski Resort. World reknown for its dry and light snow, skiing and snowboaridng is a must-do when visiting Banff. To help your find your ski or snowboard legs, spend a full day at one of our incredible ski hills with our knowledgable instructors. Learn to turn or hone those downhill skills! Maybe it’s your first time on the snow. Maybe you’re switching between skiing and snowboarding. Maybe you haven’t hit the slopes in years and want to regain confidence. No matter your level, we’ll help you build confidence, progress your skills safely, and make great memories at the same time!
Ski & Snowboard Lessons
Day 3
After a day of skiing and snowboarding, it's time to spend a day relaxing with a side of fun! In the morning, head to Mt Norquay Tube Park for a couple of hours of snow tubing! It is the largest snow tube park in Alberta! Once you're back in Banff, make your way to the Banff Gondola to take in the 360 degree view of six mountain ranges. You might even spot where you went tubing! To finish off your day, treat yourself in the Banff Upper Hotsprings. Located right nexto to the gondola. It is a great pit stop before you retire for the night.

Day 4
You can't have an epic adventure without a snowmobile trip. Enjoy a groomed trail ride to the alpine, visit the enchanting frozen Marmot Falls, and experience the remnants of an early 1900s silver mining town located at 8000 ft. Refuel with a BBQ lunch and sit beside the fireplace in our cozy alpine cabin or enjoy the incredible view from the deck near the old mine shaft. After lunch, it's time for off-trail free play in the Paradise Basin This is the premier tour of the west.

Day 5
The Icefield Parkway is one of the world's greatest drives and should be on everyone's bucket list when visiting Banff National Park. Join our guides for a fullday of mesmerising glaciers and vast frozen lakes all the way to Abraham Lake for the world reknown ice bubbles! Don't forget to grab a pair of ice cleats or snowshoes to explore any trails you find on your way.

- The best time to visit for this itinerary is between mid-December and mid-March.
