What is Heli-Skiing?

Due to the highly intense nature of this Banff helicopter tour, participants must have intermediate or higher skiing or snowboarding abilities.
Heli-Skiing Quick Itinerary
- You should arrive at the Heli-Skii base at 8 a.m., but aim to be there 15-20 minutes earlier to ensure all your forms and waivers are in order.
- You’ll then enjoy a hearty, hot breakfast to fuel up before your Banff helicopter tour.
- After breakfast, your group will head outside for a safety briefing with our expert guides, where they will review essential safety information.
- Then, it’s time to load the helicopter and take off into the vast wilderness! You’ll see plenty of snowy peaks and trees; if you're lucky, you may even see some animals!
- Once you arrive, it’s time to shred those hills! Your guide will be with you every step of the way.
- Heli-skii for 2-3 runs before stopping for a healthy, delicious lunch.
- Continue your remaining runs. You can also purchase additional runs.
- Hurrah! Your group will then return to the heli-ski base to unwind and relax by the warm fire.
What to Bring
We provide the helli-skiing equipment, including powder skis and snowboards. If you'd like to bring your own equipment, no worries! While we greatly encourage riders to use the equipment we provide, our expert guides can also inspect guests' snowboards and skis before takeoff.

Pricing: Starting at $1185 per person.
Transportation: The shuttle is available from Banff for $175 per person. For the shuttle to run, groups must have a minimum of five people.
Special Notes: Each heli-skiing participant must sign an activity waiver before heli-skiing. Participants under 19 must have a parent or guardian sign a liability release form prior to participating.
