Choose a Mountain
Banff is known for the Big 3: Mt. Norquay, Sunshine Village, and Lake Louise. Which mountain you choose is completely up to you, as they all have memorable views and excellent slopes waiting for you to try.
Mt. Norquay is a favourite to ski due to its proximity to the town. Located only 7 minutes from town, you can be there first thing in the morning. It’s the only place in Banff that offers night skiing in its fully-lit terrain park. This mountain is family-friendly and offers great trails for beginners, intermediate and advanced people.
Sunshine Village is only a quick 15 minutes from the town of Banff, giving you scenic views the entire way to the hill. Sunshine Village is a world-renowned ski resort and a great option for anyone looking for mountain adventures.
Lake Louise is the third of the Big 3 in Banff and one of the largest ski resorts in North America! Like Mt. Norquay, it is suitable for people of all skill levels. Take advantage of the four mountain faces and endless slopes, and make sure to bring a camera to capture the spectacular views.

Repeat!
Now that you’re set for day 1, don’t forget to go back for day 2! Maybe try out all three mountains over the course of three days, or make sure to come back and ski the other two this season.
