Scenic Sundance

Each activity has its own meeting point and transportation is not included.

Horseback ride - Warner Stables, the big red stables located at the end of Sundance Road in Banff. When you arrive, please check-in for your ride at the office in the east barn which has signs for ‘Banff Trail Riders Stables’ and ‘office’. The stables are located approximately a five minute drive or a 20 minute walk from downtown Banff, and there is plenty of free parking at the site.
 

Banff Gondola - 100 Mountain Ave, Banff

Guests participating in horseback riding will need to be 8 years or over and a maximum of 230lbs. As part of the check-in process, guests may be required to confirm their current weight on a scale and provide proof of the child’s age. In the event that these requirements are not met, the booking will be forfeited without a refund.

For safety purposes helmets are mandatory to be worn by all riders. If guests wear a headdress, there is a safe space provided to change into the helmet. Riders must wear sturdy closed toed shoes enclosed to the ankle – no open toe shoes or shoes with big heels.

Please note that children will not be paired with an adult – they must ride their own horse.

No, you can do the activities over separate days. If you do wish to do everything on one day, please allow enough time between activities.

Horseback and Gondola rides run rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. Please do not wear a rain poncho on the horseback, as they can flap in the wind and spook the horses.

The Horseback ride has a 24 hour cancellation policy, which allows you to change/cancel or refund your booking up to 24 hours outside your booked tour. 

The Gondola Ticket has a 72 hour cancellation policy, which allows you to change/cancel or refund your booking up to 72 hours outside your booked tour.
