Before deciding how to spend the day exploring Moraine Lake, it's essential to work out how you'll get there first. Moraine Lake Road has said goodbye to private vehicle access due to parking spots at the lake being hard to come by. But do not worry, in its place are frequent shuttle buses and tours to the tranquil lake. You can't drive personal vehicles up Moraine Lake Road at any time of day. This means you must hike, bike, take a shuttle or transit, or go on a tour. You can still drive to Lake Louise, although parking is limited and payment is required.You will have plenty of time to leisurely stroll along the serene shore at Moraine Lake, soak in the beauty, and even conquer the famous Rock Pile. - Peak season rates apply for shuttles.
- Don't forget to book your return shuttle time from Moraine Lake. The Return shuttle will pop up before checkout. We do not charge extra for the Moraine Lake Return Shuttle. It will only be accepted when you book a Moraine Lake inbound Shuttle.
- Return should be booked on the same date of your inbound booking.
- Shuttle departure times change throughout the season
