Winter highlight!
Dogsled Tour - Mountain Musher
Adventure Details
The Spray Lakes in Kananaskis Country, offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the Canadian Rockies. Experience what it is like to be a real musher!
As travel down the lake, you will see the terrain change and ice flows will appear that make you feel like you are in the arctic tundra. Experience some narrower trails in the trees as you loop around with some spectacular views down the valley to the south end of the Spray Lakes.
You will start with approx. 30 min of orientation on dog sledding, dog handling, and equipment. You will then have an opportunity to meet the dogs and assist the guides with harnessing the dogs and setting up the teams. Once out on the trail, you will have the opportunity to drive the sled with the assistance of our qualified guide or you can just sit back, relax, & enjoy the views down the Spray Valley.
Once back at the trailhead, you will have some time to thank the dogs and give them treats, warm up in our tent by the fire and enjoy some hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies
